Dr. Scott Steffensen
PH.D. in Pharmacology, Creator of SweatBlockDr. Scott Steffensen is not only a member of our Medical Review Board, he's also the founder and inventor of SweatBlock.
In addition to his role as inventor and founder, Dr. Steffensen is a tenured professor at Brigham Young University in the Phychology department with research and teaching focused the nuerobiology of addiction.
Dr. Steffensen utilizes electrophysiological, neurochemical, and behavioral approaches to study neuroadaptations in brain substrates during alcohol and nicotine dependence and codependence.
His research has been funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for the past thirty years.
Dr. Steffensen recieved his PhD in Pharmacology and BS in Medical Technology from the University of Utah.
